The Concord Model is Open!
The team at Parkwood has been buzzing with excitement these last few months to finally showcase our new model, The Concord, and this September we finally got the chance! The grand opening event, held September 9th, was an amazing experience as we had team members from all over the country and an amazing showing from the whole Daybreak community to see this spectacular home (and to enjoy some pizza and ice cream).
The Concord is such an exciting addition to our portfolio of homes, designed with waterside living in mind. To learn more about what inspired the Concord and what Parkwood’s design goals were, I talked to our architect, Daniel Morales. Here’s what he had to say.
“The design of the exterior was inspired by the shingle style houses of New England and the upper Midwest lakes. The plan was designed to take advantage of the many sided water views with multiple opportunities for outdoor spaces, both in the yard and from the interior. What I like about the house are the dynamic qualities of the interior spaces and how its exterior looks picturesque from different points of view. The interior was designed to be flexible to furnish, interesting to walk through, and give the occupant maximum views and natural light while affording privacy. Ultimately, we wanted to make a large house that felt intimate rather than oversized. “
If you’ve had the chance to walk through the model, then I think you’ll agree that Daniel accomplished everything he set out to do. You walk out onto a wrap-around porch leading directly out to the firepit patio, and every step of the way you are greeted with spectacular water views.
The Concord boasts a versatile floor plan that caters to the needs of modern families. With three different gathering spaces on three different levels, there's plenty of space for everyone. The master suite, in particular, is a parent’s sanctuary, offering a private deck with (you guessed it) more spectacular water and mountain views.
